Divine Love Institute is an amazing place! When I first walked in there for the Reiki Circle I felt a curious mixture of calmness, love and belonging. It embodies all the good thing about home. I have come to know the two incredible women who run it: Nancy Haney Duke and Nancy Livingston, and I have taken a number of classes with them.
I was originally trained in Western Reiki, which I understood intellectually. Later on, I took training for the Eastern Reiki, Gendai Reiki Ho. This completely and profoundly changed me. Divine Love Institute™ and “The Nancy’s” have become known as the “go to place for Gendai Reiki Ho Certification Training” in the South Florida area and well beyond. We offer regularly scheduled Gendai Reiki Ho Certifications and because of our reiki history, we love to offer Gendai Reiki Ho Gokuikaiden Level (the highest Level of Gendai Reiki) to already existing Western Reiki Master Teachers who like us, appreciate the purity and original techniques revealed through the Eastern Teachings of Reiki.
With this in mind, we would like to present our “Thoughts on Reiki,” our individual journeys. You will learn what brought us to our initial Reiki Training, the effect it had on us and why we continued our search for 15 years (for Nancy Duke) and 9 years (for Nancy Livingston) to find what was for us “the truth” of Usui Sensi’s original teachings which led us to Gendai Reiki and Hiroshi Doi, the Founder of Gendai Reiki Ho.
